DG16 (2)YoungPros DoingGood provides connections to individuals, group and corporate volunteer opportunities in our community! But since we have no full-time paid staff and over 80% of the organization is run by volunteers, we have the following volunteer opportunities available within our organization (by motivation):

UPCOMING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES WITH US

People’s Fair – 3 shifts of 8 people each day helping man our VIP/Main Stage Adult Beverage Tent at the People’s Fair, June 3&4, 2017. MUST BE 21 years of age!

  • Needed: Outgoing personality, Ability to work with others, Have Fun, Not drink the profits! 🙂

Suitcase Party Event Committee – Assist in creating, implementing and managing the Suitcase Party (www.suitcase.party) on October 6, 2017 at XJET hangar, Cenntennial. (Bi-Weekly Meetings)

  • Needed: Event Planning, Marketing, Sponsorship and Prize Procurement, Public Relations, F&B Procurement, Volunteer Management, Logistics Planning

Happy Hour Committee – Assist in creating, implementing and managing monthly happy hours for members, guests and the general public.  (Bi-Weekly Meetings)

  • Needed: Event Planning, Marketing, Sponsorship and Prize Procurement, Public Relations, F&B Procurement, Volunteer Management, Logistics Planning

Marketing Committee – Assist with the marketing and communications of the YoungPros DoingGood organization. (Monthly Meetings)

  • Needed: Marketing Experience/wanting experience, PR Experience/wanting experience, Content Development, Newsletter Development, Membership Communications, Event Marketing, and more

DoingGoodWeek Committee – Assist with creating and implementing a FREE conference for over 500 small and local nonprofits, being held August 7-11, 2017 on the CU-Denver Campus (Bi-Weekly meetings)

  • Needed: Event Planning, Marketing, Sponsorship and Prize Procurement, Public Relations, F&B Procurement, Volunteer Management, Logistics Planning

Speaker/Presenter Committee – Assist with recruiting and scheduling speakers and presenters for monthly training sessions (25-50 attendees) and DoingGoodWeek (500-750 attendees) for small and local nonprofits. (Bi-Weekly meetings)

  • Needed: Marketing, Content Creation, HR Skills, Speaker/Presenter Research, Scheduling, Room Procurement, etc.
